10:14pm: after a year of employment which will kick in this october i am getting a raise and 2 weeks paid vacation. 2 weeks ain't shit if you compare this to any country in europe. i remember when i was in france in march, i was in a subway in paris talking to this random french guy who lived in the states for 4 years and saw it all. he said we are one of the most hard-working countries and we make more money than others, but when it comes to personal time most of us don't know what to do with it. he's right and its sad. how can someone have a sober view of the world if they only been in one place their whole life? half the people at my work haven't vacationed anywhere but jersey shore their whole lives. how many people who live in philadelphia have never even been to new york. you'll be supresed, tons! pathetic... wake up people! i am broke as hell, but i will always spend that last dollar to go somewhere and see the world. life is all about experiences.
